A Welcome from the Headteacher

Br. Lawrent Sixbert Komba, OFM Cap

Headteacher

Welcome to Brother Martin Pre & Primary School in Miyuji, Dodoma. Thank you to every parent and guardian for entrusting us with something precious: your child’s education and growth. Our motto, “Feed the mind, free the child,” reminds us that every learner can ask questions, discover talents, build confidence and use knowledge wisely. We want children to feel encouraged to learn, to try, and to develop good character.

Guided by the Franciscan tradition of the Capuchin Friars, we value simplicity, fraternity, compassion, service and care for creation. The classroom is a place for ideas to take shape; sports teach teamwork; gardens and practical activities encourage responsibility; and school community life helps children learn respect and concern for others.

A child thrives when school and family work together. We invite parents to stay connected with teachers, follow school news and the calendar, ask questions and take part in their children’s development. Our aim is to nurture strong learning foundations alongside kindness, discipline, creativity and a sense of service. Together, we can help every child grow in knowledge, recognise their gifts and use them to make a positive contribution to the community. Welcome to the Brother Martin family.
