Every child is a gift from God
Every child has unique worth, talents and room to grow. A pupil is more than a mark or number; each child deserves respect, listening and caring guidance.
BROTHER MARTIN · DODOMA
Holistic education that develops a child’s mind, heart, character, faith, talents and responsibility.
EDUCATION FOR THE WHOLE CHILD
Brother Martin Primary School believes every child has worth, gifts and the capacity to grow. Holistic education feeds the mind with knowledge and enables each child to grow with love, faith, discipline, joy and responsibility.

Every child has unique worth, talents and room to grow. A pupil is more than a mark or number; each child deserves respect, listening and caring guidance.
Learning includes the mind, body, character, emotions, faith and social relationships. Academic work connects with sport, creativity, formation and responsibility.
Pupils build foundations in reading, writing, numeracy, inquiry, questioning and problem-solving through relevant knowledge and skills.
Freedom means helping children discover their talents, ask questions, enjoy learning and build confidence within a framework of respect and discipline.
Discipline is the practice of responsibility, respecting time, caring for materials and understanding the effects of choices. It should be guided with fairness, dignity and consistency.
Within the Catholic and Franciscan approach, pupils are encouraged to nurture gratitude, forgiveness, respect and peace in daily life.
Children learn cooperation, support for people in need, respect for differences and the use of education for the good of society.
Gardens, the environment, sport, practical tasks and projects help pupils connect classroom knowledge with real life.
A safe environment, hygiene, nutrition, sport and child care are foundational to learning and growing with confidence.
IN PRACTICE
Shared activities help children collaborate, listen to others and apply knowledge beyond the textbook.

In classrooms, on the field, in the garden, at assemblies and in shared living, children have opportunities to practise respect, discipline, cooperation and care for others.
