VOCATION GUIDE
Joining Requirements
A letter begins the conversation. Decisions follow review and the appropriate next steps.
What to prepare
- Be a practising Catholic involved in the life of the Church.
- Provide sacramental information: Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation; explain if any step is still pending.
- Write a letter of interest: all three names, age, parish, school/institution, education and reasons for discerning a vocation.
- Select the education pathway: Standard Seven/Form One, Form Four/Form Five, Form Six, Diploma or university/college.
- Attach a letter or supporting document in PDF, Word, RTF, TXT or a readable image. Executable/code files are not accepted.
- After submission, keep the tracking code. The Director reviews the application and may schedule a discernment seminar.
Requirements vary by institution. Franciscan Seminary, Maua’s published guidance says Form One applicants write early during Standard Seven; A-Level applicants write during Form Four. Confirm current dates with the school.
